Easy Legend of Zelda Cosplay for Men
In 1986, with the very first The Legend of Zelda, players first accompanied Link on his journey to save the kingdom of Hyrule from the evil forces of Ganon. Just as iconic as Link is Princess Zelda, who is a key figure within the game. In just about every game, Zelda is present and wields the power of the goddess Hylia. Hers and Link's destinies are intertwined together, for whenever Ganon reappears to cover the world in darkness a Link and Zelda will rise up to defeat him.
Zelda is one of the most notable video game characters of all time and those that cosplay her spare no details when trying to capture her image and personality. This list showcases 10 amazing Zelda cosplayers, a does contain spoilers for Ocarina of Time and Wind Waker. Here are 10 of the Best Zelda Cosplays That Look Just Like The Game.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword came out in 2011 for the Wii U. It's the 16th game in the franchise. Skyward Sword is the first game to give the origin of the Master Sword, originally called the Goddess Sword. Link is led to it by the spirit that resides in it, Fi, and uses it to rescue Zelda from Demon Lord Ghirahim who wishes to use Zelda as a means to resurrect Demire.
This cosplay of Zelda from Skyward Sword is by Maridah, who completed in 2017. She remarks that this Zelda cosplay was among several that was her goal to pick back up and finish. And she did an amazing job of it, thanks Maridah!

There are many games in the Zelda franchise and The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is one of the most iconic. It was even the best selling Zelda game, up until the release of Breath of the Wild. In it, Link must save Hyrule from being completely corrupted by the Twilight Realm, an alternate dimension. In the game, Zelda assists Link and Midna on their journey and even takes part in the final battle using the power of the Light Spirits to create arrows and a bow.
Heidi O'Ferrall captures Zelda's fierceness in battle with an amazing cosplay made by her and the Bow of Light prop created by Volpin Props.

In Ocarina of Time, Zelda along with her attendant Impa, run away from Hyrule castle in hopes of keeping the Triforce out of Ganondorf's hands. For 7 years she hides out from Ganondorf, masquerading as Sheik as she waited for Link to return so that they could defeat Ganondorf once and for awhile. Zelda appears as three different versions throughout the game. First as a child, then as the male Sheikah Sheik, and then as her true self.
Valkyrja does an amazing job of cosplaying Zelda with the Master Sword, so much so that it almost doesn't look real!
7 Mica Burton - Breath Of The Wild
Via: Mica Burton
The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is the newest rendition of the Hylian princess with the power of the Goddess. The game takes place at the end of the Zelda timeline, where Zelda guides Link to awaken after 100 years and become the hero that Hyrule needs. This awesome cosplay of Zelda in her white ceremonial dress is done by Mica Burton and photographed by Alf Alive.
Mica does an amazing job of embodying Zelda as she's finally able to wield the powers of her birthright and guide Link to reclaim his destiny.

Ocarina of Time isn't just one of the most iconic games in the franchise, it also introduced the gaming mechanic "Z-targeting" where players can quickly lock onto enemies and other things with the press of a button. It combines what one would normally find with an action-adventure game, but music also plays a large part in the game, as players have to learn songs to progress through the game.
The character Sheik assists Link in teaching him different warping songs on the ocarina that Princess Zelda gave to him. Or rather Sheik gave to him, as Sheik turns out to be Zelda in disguise. And this awesome Sheik cosplay was the collaboration between Mishelly88 and Fiathriel who took the photo.
5 LayzeMichelle - Hyrule Warriors
Via: LayzeMichelle
Hyrule Warriors is a spin-off game that stands out among most of the others in the franchise as it is much more combat-focused. It's a collab between Nintendo and Koei Tecmo, making it a crossover between The Legend of Zelda and the Dynasty Warriors series. The game takes place outside the Zelda timeline and Princess Zelda becomes Queen Zelda as she commands the Hylian army to protect the castle from a dark army of monsters.
Zelda doesn't just command an army but she can wield a number of different weapons, from rapiers to batons. LayzeMichelle sports the Wind Waker baton with her awesome cosplay of Queen Zelda.

In Wind Waker, Link meets a pirate named Tetra and stops her from being kidnapped by the Helmaroc King, at the expense of having his sister kidnapped. Though Tetra is reluctant to help Link at first, she eventually shows she has a deeply caring side and does what she can to help him rescue his sister. It is revealed that Tetra is, in fact, Princess Zelda and that the necklace of her mother's that she had held onto is a piece of the Triforce of Wisdom.
Anniechie embodies Tetra's spunky and adventure-loving energy with this amazing cosplay.
3 Akuriko - Spirit Tracks
Via: Akuriko
The Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks is done in the same adorable artistic style as Wind Waker. The game also follows after the events of Wind Waker and Phantom Hourglass. In Spirit Tracks, Link is a young engineer who goes to Zelda to receive his engineer's certificate to become a Royal Engineer. The two, along with various allies, come to work together to figure out the disappearance of the Spirit Tracks, the land's mode of transportation that also works to bind the spirit of the evil Maladus in the ground.
Akuriko does an awesome job of bringing Spirit Tracks' cartoon style into the real world with an amazingly accurate design!

In The Legend of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds, Link travels between Hyrule and the dark decaying world of Lorule. Lorule met its fate when its own Triforce was destroyed, leaving the kingdom in ruins. As Zelda rules over Hyrule, she has a counterpart, Hilda, who rules over Lorule. Luna-Ishtarcosplay and Lelistar cosplay as Hilda and Zelda, respectively.
These two best friends took these amazing costumes into the final round of the World Cosplay Summit Brazil back in 2014 and took home 3rd place! You can even watch their amazing performance right here.
1 Hannaheva - Breath Of The Wild
Via: Susan Onysko
In Breath of the Wild, much of Zelda's appearance takes place in memories that players can help Link regain. During these memories, we see Zelda in a number of different outfits, from winter attire and traveling clothes to much fancier and regal clothing. One of her most stunning outfits is her royal dress and cosplayer Hannaheva has managed to bring that gorgeous dress to real life.
Hannaheva spared no details in recreating this elegant dress while added a few personal touches to make it stand out among the crowd. And Susan Onysko's photo of her helps show off her radiant aura of elegance, just like the real Zelda!
